Hello! I’m Bec, I’m 34 year old mum of two and photographer from Sutton In Ashfield, Nottingham.

I have a huge passion for childhood and family photography and capturing those special moments before they become a memory. This has been especially relevant for me since becoming a mum and realising how quickly our children change in a short period of time. Photos really are the best way of cherishing those memories forever.

I understand that all children are different - some energetic and confident, others shy and reserved. I endeavour to work with all these traits to capture images which represent your child’s and families personality perfectly.

I have been DBS checked (former CRB check) and as a former teacher I am used to working with children. My studio is pet free, clean and safe. It is also warm, cosy and has plenty of natural light which suits my simple and natural photography style.

A few other things about me…

I am originally from Newcastle Upon Tyne, but have lived in Nottinghamshire for 10 years and have almost lost my Geordie accent but not quite!!

I have 2 young children, Isobel, who is 5 and William, who is 4. My husband, David, is my childhood sweetheart.

I am a qualified Early Years teacher and taught in local primary schools for 10 years. I finished teaching in 2019 to pursue my passion of photography.

I am self taught as a photographer and love that it is a constant journey of learning and developing my style as an artist.

In my spare time I love days out with my family, sunny walks in the local Derbyshire countryside and I like to read. I also really enjoy travelling and exploring new countries and, of course, my favourite thing to do is plan these holidays whist enjoying a glass of wine or 2.
